In 2006, Peterbilt shook up their product line, introducing the new 380 series of trucks, including the 386, 388, and 389. They also completely redesigned the interior, replacing the classic toggle switches with rocker switches and several other more modern and ergonomic changes. As a result, Peterbilt is more popular than ever! The Peterbilt 386 is the next step in truck evolution – an even more aerodynamic and futuristic twist on the 387, complete with the curvy fiberglass hood and inset headlights. While the exterior is a whole new animal, the interior and dash setup is generally similar to the 389.
