This continuous wire harness uses single female plugs and has 13" of wire between each plug. Approximately 6" of wire will be left on each open end. This harness is sold PER SINGLE PLUG. For example, when using one strand of wire as a ground wire, and another strand as a hot wire, in order to power 5 lights, you will need 10 plugs. However, if using one strand of wire as a hot wire, and grounding the light to a housing or mounting screw, you will only need 5 plugs to power 5 lights.
